Spicy Sticky Baked Gochujang Wings

Description

These Gochujang Chicken Wings are sweet, spicy and so deep in flavour – they make a great addition to any party or game day! Serve with some refreshing sides like pickled radish, seasoned cucumber and rice for a completely satisfying meal.


Ingredients

  • 24 chicken wings, drumlets or mid-joints
  • 4 tbsp gochujang
  • 4 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp rice wine
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp garlic, minced
  • 1/4 tsp pepper

Instructions

What we love about this recipe is how simple it is.

  1. Wash. Rinse the chicken and drain well.
  2. Marinade. Combine all ingredients for marinade, mix in chicken and let them sit in fridge for 2-4 hours, overnight is best.
  3. Preheat oven at 218C for 10 mins.
  4. Bake. Spread the marinated chicken on a baking tray and bake for 20-25 mins, till the juice runs clear.
