About Geonbae

Q: What is Geonbae?
A: Geonbae means “cheers” in Korean. At geonbae.com, we celebrate togetherness and friendship over a delicious round of drinks. We bring in speciality wines from the Asian region and, in particular, from South Korea. These wines are very different from the Western wines that most people are familiar with and we aim to introduce a very different range of delicious wines to appeal to your palettes.
Q: Why is there Geonbae and Enterprise Go Pte Ltd? So confusing!
A: Enterprise Go Pte Ltd is the owner of geonbae.com and all products and services listed on the website. Geonbae.com is more synonymous to the products and services listed on the website and hence is the name of choice of the website.
Q: Where does Geonbae get its products from?
A: All our products come from the country of origin as listed in the product description. We import the products directly ourselves or engage a local distributor who imports the products directly from the country of origin. Hence the authenticity of the products is ensured and we will never sell damaged or expired items.
Q: Does Geonbae have a physical store in Singapore?
A: Much as we will love to, but we do not have any physical stores currently (yet!). We do distribute some of our products to local stores, as indicated in Where To Buy page. However, as these stores are not owned by us, we cannot guarantee product availability nor the pricing at any instant.
Q: What are your hours of operations?
A: geonbae.com is operational 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We will send confirmation to any orders and reply to your email enquiries within 1 working day. For Cash-on-delivery orders, orders will only be processed after you have replied to our order confirmation with the payment transaction details.

Order and Delivery

Q: What is the order process?
A: 1: Place your orders on our item order page and enter all necessary information.
2: We will send you a confirmation email indicating your order, together with your payment method and expected delivery days. The confirmation email will be sent within 1 working day.
3: Reply to the email to confirm the details. If you are making payment via bank transfer, do indicate the transaction reference in your email as well.
4: Delivery will done within 2-5working days, usually via Speedpost.
Q: What payment methods are accepted?
A: We accept the following payment methods:
• Internet banking: DBS Current Account 005-902649-5
• PayPal: [email protected]
• Credit/debit card via Paypal. Mastercard/Visa/American Express are accepted.
After making the internet banking transfer, do drop us an email at [email protected] with your order number, internet banking transfer reference number and name and we will proceed to process your order.
• Cash on delivery – If you absolutely require payment via Cash on delivery or urgent requests, please write in to us with your order details to [email protected]
Please note that there is an additional administrative fee of $20.00.
Q: What are the delivery charges?
A: We offer free delivery within Singapore for orders above $41.00. If your order is below this amount, there will be a delivery charge of $6.00.
Q: Do you deliver overseas?
A: Our free delivery offer only applies to local (Singapore) deliveries and NOT overseas. That being said, we do entertain delivery to other countries, but there will be additional courier charges. As our products are alcohol-based, do bear in mind that there may be custom duties as well, which we will have no idea of. Also, as our products are beverages, we cannot guarantee the conditions under which they are delivered and hence there may be changes in quality (Especially if the wine requires to be kept chilled). Hence please email us at [email protected] for any delivery out of Singapore.
Q: Does Geonbae offer bulk discounts? What about discount for repeat orders?
A: We are proud to say that we offer the most competitive prices in Singapore for most of our products. In addition, we offer free delivery for purchases above $41.00 and we may also have special offers from time to time that give special discounts. That said, please understand if we do not offer any bulk discounts. However, we are always open to suggestions and do feel free to send us an email to enquire if you are thinking of making bulk purchases.
Q: What if nobody is at home when delivery arrives?
A: We try as far as possible to fit your preferred delivery timings and update you of tracking number.
We are now engaging Roadbull courier services. Orders sent by 9am of a working day will be processed and shipped out in the same day. Tracking number will be available to you by the next working day. Roadbull delivery will take another 1-3day to reach your address. Usually they will arrange/call you in advance for delivery timeslot. They deliver only on working days (Mon-Fri) 9am-6pm. If there’s nobody is at your address to receive the parcel at that point of delivery, they will attempt delivery one more time. If delivery is still unsuccessful then then you would need to come to our collection office at:

If you prefer self collection at above address instead of delivery to your address, kindly indicate in the memo of your preferred collection day and timing (Mon-Fri 9am-6pm only).

For Ta-q-bin deliveries (for chilled items), they would usually deliver in the preferred timeslot that you have indicated. Kindly indicate your preferred timeslot in the “Order Notes” upon checkout: Weekday/Weekend & Morning 9-12/Afternoon 12-5/Evening 5-7pm. Evening slot is not available for Weekends.
Kindly make sure someone is around at your indicated timeslot to receive the delivery. However, in the unfortunate event that Ta-q-bin service is delayed, kindly notify us and we’ll be glad to check and arrange new delivery timing if needed.
