Molten Green Tea Chocolate Cookie

Description

The earthy flavours of green tea and cocoa complement each other, and imagine the surprise when your family and friends bite into the cookie and see not chocolate, but green tea oozing out!


Ingredients

  • 10 tsp Feliz Green Tea Almond Spread balls, frozen
  • 115g butter, room temperature
  • 90g brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 140g flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp corn starch
  • 40g cocoa powder

Instructions

Let’s start making these yummy treats!

  1. Scoop 1 tsp of Feliz Green Tea Almond Spread into a silicon mould. Repeat this step 10 times and freeze for at least an hour.
  2. Preheat oven at 180C.
  3. Beat butter, brown sugar and egg in a standing mixing bowl for a minute till smooth.
  4. Add flour, baking soda, corn starch and cocoa powder and beat till well-combined.
  5. Take an ice cream scoop of cookie dough and wrap around the frozen Green Tea Almond Spread. Ensure that the green tea spread is covered entirely. Repeat until cookie dough is used up.
  6. Bake for 10mins.

Notes

Cookies can be stored in a air tight jar in room temperature for 2-3 weeks, or in the fridge for 2 months.
