How does it taste?
Chuga Original Makgeolli has a typical pale milky white appearance with apparent carbonation forming at the side of the glassware. The carbonation elevates the aroma of the rice, making it very expressive. Light tingling sensation upon entry with hint of sweetness. It is smooth and clean with minimal coating in your mouth. Minimal rice sediments is observed. Recommended for people trying makgeolli for the first time. You can aerate it a little as that will increase the richness of the rice flavour making it an excellent choice to pair with Korean pancakes.
